About Me
I am a person deeply shaped by creativity – not only in the artistic sense but in a general way. I love to rethink, change, and question things. I'm interested in possibilities, not limitations. This mindset accompanies me not only in my art but also in my daily life and my computer science studies. To me, the two are not contradictory – on the contrary: structure and spontaneity complement each other.
Since childhood, I loved painting, crafting, and building – creative expression has always drawn me in. I got into art through simple acrylic paintings on canvas, which I made at home. The medium fascinated me quickly – especially its directness and versatility. Today, I work almost exclusively with acrylics and spatulas. This allows me to apply paint boldly, mix it, and change it intuitively. I often start with an idea, but much develops in the process. I see the painting every day on the easel, reflect on it, find new directions, until it feels right to me.
I'm someone who needs peace when working. I observe a lot, collect impressions, reflect – and only then execute. Nature, daily life, moods, or even just a shade of color on a wall can spark ideas. I’m not trying to explain something – but to evoke something. A feeling. A mood. My paintings are not just meant to decorate walls – they’re meant to resonate. Quietly, but lastingly.
If someone pauses in front of one of my works, perhaps even forgets what's going on around them – then I’ve achieved exactly what I intended.
